Educational Program

 

 Courses are delivered in Spanish, except for the visiting artist course.

We are designing a special summer course in English for 2010.

Events

 

Program of artist talks, conferences, screenings, performances and other art related events.

We have an event at SOMA every wednesday at 9:00 pm. Events are free and open to the general public.

August 25: Artist talk with Gabriel de la Mora

September 1: Artist talk with Laureana Toledo

September 8: Talk with Jorge Covarrubias, arquitect

Special event:

August 20 ( 10 pm): Party organized by Errr-magazine
 
Residence Program

 

Soma has two residence spaces:

The first residency space is intended for  residence periods of up to three months. Long term residents can also request the use of a fantastic studio area located in the Soma building.

The second residency space  is intended  for residence periods of up to 15 days.

We offer our residency space to artists, curators and critical theorists from around the world.

The residents will be invited to give artist talks to the general public, and in some cases to deliver courses as part of the Educational Program.
